Eilidh Clarihew‍

Orthodontic Therapist

Eilidh is involved in all treatments within the practice, including placement of braces, adjustments, and removal of fixed or Invisalign appliances. Eilidh's role is to treat patients under prescription from our specialist orthodontists. She is involved with all kinds of brace treatments, fixed, removable, twin blocks, Invisalign and retainers.

During a patient's treatment journey, Eilidh makes sure the patient understands the treatment they are receiving and that any questions are answered. She loves to see the difference a new smile can make to someone’s life and the improvements we can make to people's teeth.

Eilidh started as a Qualified dental nurse with Aberdeen Orthodontics in August 2012 whilst also being a private patient of theirs. She went on to achieve her radiography qualification, and orthodontic nursing qualifications before embarking on her orthodontic therapy qualification at Leeds dental institute and qualifying from the royal college of surgeons in London as a Orthodontic Therapist in May 2016.

Away from work, Eilidh looks after her 3 young daughters. She is married and spends most of her spare time with her family. She enjoys keeping fit and goes to the gym regularly with her personal trainer. She is also the coach for her daughter's football team.

An interesting fact is that Eilidh completed a triathlon in April 2017.

Alison Pitt

Orthodontic Therapist
DIP.ORTH.THERAPY.RSC(ENG) GDC No: 299922

Alison is a qualified Orthodontic Therapist, having completed the Yorkshire Orthodontic Therapy Course at Leeds Dental Institute in 2025, accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons.

With a background as an Orthodontic Nurse and certifications in dental radiography and oral health education, she brings a broad skill set and a commitment to continuous learning.

Alison is passionate about helping patients achieve confident smiles through friendly, supportive care.

Katrina Morrow‍

Practice Administrator

Katrina is one of the first members of the Aberdeen Orthodontics team our patients meet, as she guides them through their journey to straighter teeth. From initial assessment onwards, Katrina is involved in all aspects of treatment at our practice, including Invisalign and fixed braces.

As a qualified dental nurse and with a wealth of other qualifications and training to her name, perhaps Katrina’s best experience comes from being a previous patient herself; she knows better than anyone what it’s like to wear fixed braces to achieve a straighter smile.

At work, Katrina loves nothing more than seeing patients enjoying a new-found confidence when they complete their treatment. And when not busy perfecting smiles for the Aberdeen community, Katrina keeps busy with church activities, holidays and gardening. If all that weren’t enough, she’s also in the process of buying land to build a house.

Claire Maclean

Treatment Coordinator and Orthodontic Nurse

From a private patient at Aberdeen Orthodontics 13 years ago to completing her dental nurse training and advancing to become our Treatment Coordinator, Claire has been on both sides of dental practice life.

She is an Invisalign-trained coordinator and a qualified Orthodontic Nurse, having passed her orthodontic nurse exam in September 2023. Claire plays a vital role in supporting all our patients in their treatment journeys, ensuring quality care for everyone that comes to our practice. With many patients having wanted to get started on achieving their ideal smile for a long time, Claire enjoys playing an important role in helping their journey begin.

Away from work, Claire has a busy family life with her husband and young son. They love spending time outdoors together and getting together with extended family and friends.
